Important information

Our minimum order for each fabric & colourway is 1 metre.

Before ordering please ensure that you have double checked your measurements as we’re unable to refund cut fabric lengths. The description of each fabric includes full details of fabric construction, width, print size and repeats.

We endeavour to represent the printed colour of our fabrics as faithfully as we can, but we can’t control the colour settings of your own monitor. If you’re looking to match our fabric to another fabric, wallpaper or paint colour, please contact us for a small colour swatch.

As there can be slight variations in the shade & woven quality of our base cloths, if there has been period of time between requesting a sample and placing your order, we would always recommend that you request a stock cutting of our current cloth.

On receipt, you must check that the fabric/wallpaper delivered is what you had ordered. Please check this as soon as you open the fabric.

In the case of cut lengths of fabric we recommend that you inspect carefully before cutting as cut lengths cannot be returned, nor can we be held responsible for any upholstery or curtain/blind making costs.

Please note that although we have display lengths, pattern books and sample swatches at our Norfolk showroom, we do not hold stock. All fabric orders will be despatched by insured courier.

About our fabrics

Our printed cottons are generally suitable for curtains, blinds, cushion covers and loose covers receiving relatively light usage.

Our linen union is generally suitable for curtains, blinds, cushion covers, loose covers and upholstery.

We’re happy to supply a larger offcut of fabric for you to show your upholsterer if required.

As our fabrics are generally produced from natural fibres, there can be irregularities in the weave.

Due to natural factors beyond our control, batches of our basecloths can differ slightly in shade and texture - but all comply to commercially accepted tolerances.

As there can be slight variations in the shade & woven quality of our base cloths, if there has been period of time between requesting a sample and placing your order, we would always recommend that you request a stock cutting of our current cloth.

Discontinued fabrics

Over time we may discontinue certain fabric colourways and/or designs.

If a design/colourway that is of interest has been discontinued, we should be able to arrange for this to be reprinted, but we will have to calculate and discuss the price per metre with you before we proceed (the cost will vary depending on the quantity ordered).

About our wallpapers

Our wallpapers are printed in batches. We'll always ensure that your order contains rolls from the same batch for colour consistency. As we can't guarantee future orders would come from the same batch, please ensure that you have correctly calculated the numbers of rolls required as we are unable to accept returns on sealed rolls.

We print our wallpapers using a variety of methods. It's important to note the hanging method to be used for each paper. This is listed on the page for each wallpaper - either paste the paper or paste the wall.

Instructions for hanging are included with each roll of wallpaper (on the reverse of the label). Please read these in full before hanging your paper.

Cleaning

We recommend that you dry clean our screen-printed fabrics.

Flame retardancy

We do not treat our fabric at the printing stage so you should use some sort of flame retardant barrier cloth or interlining when required. Your upholsterer will be able to advise.

There are a range of special treatments that we can apply to the cloth matching a range of British Standards. There will be an additional charge for such treatments.

Light and sun

If using any of our fabrics and wallpapers in areas that might be exposed to a fair amount of sunlight, we would always recommend the use of a UV window film to protect.

Use of our fabrics

Our fabrics are intended for use in the home – for curtains, blinds, light upholstery etc. We do from time to time make other items with our fabrics – produced with the same thought and care with which the original prints are designed. We therefore reserve the right to refuse the sale of our fabric to those who intend making products to re-sell – particularly when done so through Etsy, Ebay or similar.

We also reserve the right to refuse the sale of our fabric on the basis that it be re-sold by the metre.

If you’d like clarification, please contact us.

Payment methods

You can order our fabrics, wallpapers and cushion covers online.

If you’d like to order by telephone, please call on 01603 662951.

Subject to availability, we will aim to despatch your goods within 4-5 days of receiving your order (sometimes longer during sales). We aim to keep stock of all fabrics, wallpapers and cushion covers but should this not be the case we will contact you to advise when we will have stock.

Delivery/Shipping

For full details of our shipping charges please visit our delivery page.

Cancelling your order

If you would like to cancel your order before it has shipped, please contact us so that we can cancel the order on our system before authorizing your payment. If your item(s) have already shipped we will be happy to exchange or refund within 14 days (see below).

Returns, exchanges and refunds

Please note that we are unable to accept returns on cut lengths of fabric or sealed rolls of wallpaper unless faulty. We recommend that you request a colour swatch before ordering if colour matching is important. We are happy with the representation of our fabrics and wallpapers on our own screens but we have no control over the colour settings of our customers' computer monitors.

On receipt, you must check that the fabric/wallpaper delivered is what you had ordered. Please check this as soon as you open the fabric.

In the case of cut lengths of fabric we recommend that you inspect before cutting as cut lengths cannot be returned.

Unfortunately we're unable to accept returns on sealed rolls of wallpaper - we print in small numbered batches for colour consistency so it's important that your decorator correctly calculates the number of rolls required.

If an item is faulty and you would like to return, please notify us within 14 days.

Items should be returned to St. Jude's, 3/5 First Floor, St. Marys House, Duke Street, Norwich, Norfolk NR3 1QA.

We would suggest that you use some form of delivery service that requires a signature. Once we have received the item(s) (in the condition in which they were sent) we can either offer you an alternative item or a full refund. We would request that you return the item(s) to us within 14 working days of receipt.

Please ensure that you include your name, address and telephone number or e-mail when returning goods.
